Here is exactly what this site does with your information, which is: almost nothing, because there is almost nothing to do.

The short version: no account, no server, no analytics, no tracking. Everything you do here stays in your browser.
What we collect
Nothing. This is a static site. There is no backend, no database, no login, and no user account system. We have no way to identify you, and no reason to try.
What stays on your device
When you bookmark a quest, mark it complete, or change a setting, that information is written to your browser's localStorage. It never leaves your device and we cannot see it.

To remove all of it, open your browser settings and clear site data for this domain. Nothing else is required.
How search works
Search runs entirely in your browser. When you type a query, we filter the quest data already loaded into the page. Your search terms are never sent to us or to any third party. Recent searches are stored locally so we can show them to you next time you focus the search field, and they disappear the moment you clear your browser data.
URL parameters
Filter choices — search query, range, sort, and the enabled toggles — are mirrored into the URL as query parameters so a filtered view is shareable and survives a page reload. This happens locally via history.replaceState and is never transmitted anywhere. The URL is not logged by us because we have nowhere to log it to.
Third-party services
This site loads a few things from other providers. As with any website, those providers will see your IP address and standard request headers when your browser fetches from them. We do not control what they log. See their own privacy policies for details.

Cookies
We do not set any cookies. We use localStorage, which is a different mechanism: it stays on your device, is never sent with network requests, and cannot be read by other websites.
Analytics
There are none. No Google Analytics, no Plausible, no Fathom, no Vercel or Cloudflare analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising networks, and no cross-site identifiers of any kind. If that ever changes, this page will say so before the change ships.
Your rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, export, and delete any personal data a service holds about you. Because we hold none, there is nothing for us to act on. If you want to remove the data stored on your own device, clearing site data in your browser does it in one step and it is entirely under your control.
Children
This site is not directed at children. It has no accounts and collects no data, so there is nothing age-specific to configure.
Changes to this policy
If this ever changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will be summarised in a short note above the sections they affect, and left in place for a few weeks so regular visitors can see what moved.
